Your online security has always been a top priority of The Wilton Bank.
Accordingly, we have upgraded your online banking experience by implementing an additional layer of security to further protect you from identity theft and fraud.
We have implemented a new Enhanced Login Security feature, a free and easy way to help prevent fraud. This enhancement identifies the computer you are using as well as your Company ID, User ID and passwords. Sign up once at your computer and you are all set. It's that simple - the next time you log in, from the same computer, its business as usual. The rest of your online banking experience will remain exactly the same.
If you, the company administrator, attempt to log into Internet Banking from a computer other than one you have registered, you will be prompted to enter a security-code, which will automatically be emailed to you at the address on file, because the computer you are using cannot be identified. The email address on file is the one you supplied on the application for the Business Internet Banking product. If you have added other users to the system, the security -code will be sent to the email address registered under their name if they attempt to login from an unregistered computer.

If your computer isn't recognized by us, i.e., you've logged in from a public computer or one you haven't used before - we will ask you to enter a security -code as an additional line of defense to prevent unauthorized access. Enhanced Login Security - FAQ's
Q.How do you recognize my computer?
A.When you login to Business Internet Banking for the first time, you will be required to enter a security -code. After you successfully retrieve and enter the security code, you will be prompted with the Enhanced Login Security screen. By electing to "add extra protection to this computer", a secure cookie will be placed on your computer. This secure cookie is unique, and when combined with your company ID, user ID and passwords, creates another form of identification to validate your identity. This secure cookie is only used by The Wilton Bank and does not contain any company information.
Q.What if I login from a different computer other than the one I added the security to?
A.After you enter your company ID, user ID and passwords, you will be prompted with a screen that states "we do not recognize your computer, please validate your identity by entering a security code". The security code has automatically been generated and sent to your email address on file. You must go to your email address, retrieve the security code and enter it in the appropriate box . These security codes are valid for only 20 minutes and for one login only. Once you use the security code, delete it from your inbox. Each time you are instructed to enter a security code, a new one will be generated and emailed to you.
Q.Can I register more than 1 computer with the Enhanced Login Security so I do not need the pass-code?
A.Yes you can. Once you have successfully entered the security code you will be prompted with the Enhanced Login Security screen where you will have the option of registering the computer you are on with the added security.
